Your monthly rent includes three chef-prepared meals daily, transportation, exciting events and activities, and weekly housekeeping, so you can enjoy your retirement. Chef and his team can put the cows out to pasture now after our outstanding Western Barbecue at The Savoy. We had slow smoked pork ribs and tender BBQ chicken as the stars of the show, sittin' pretty next to all the fixin's like campfire baked beans, prairie coleslaw, cornbread and mac 'n cheese. Watermelon slices were chillin' like a summer breeze, and we had personal peach and cherry pies for dessert! Y'all come on back now, ya hear!

This week, we had an exciting behind the scenes chef's tour of The Savoy kitchen, where Chef Oscar pulled back the curtain and gave us a no holds barred look at the heart of our dining operation. From a sizzling grill to the fresh prep stations, we saw firsthand how our delicious meals come out of a small but mighty space. What a day! We hit the road to Daytona Beach with our amazing residents and soaked up the sunshine with ocean views and fresh seafood at Crabby Joe's Crab Shack right on the pier, super easy access, and the food? Chef's kiss!

On the way home, we made a pit stop at the legendary Buc-ee's. Think gas station meets theme park: wall to wall snacks, home goods, BBQ sandwiches and the cleanest bathroom in America. We were too busy grabbing Beaver Nuggets and exploring every aisle to take a single picture, but trust us, the vibes were immaculate & if you ask us, that's how you do summer!

Our Memorial Day Celebration began with a heartfelt Missing Man Table ceremony, the Pledge of Allegiance, and a moment of silence to honor our fallen heroes. We followed with a classic lunch of ribs, potato salad and Chantilly red, white, and blue cake for dessert. Then we cooled off at the pool with Bomb Pops and piña coladas in hand. Each Quilt of Valor is crafted with care, symbolizing honor, freedom, and the nation's appreciation. The quilts are not merely blankets; they are considered civilian awards, presented in a ceremony that acknowledged the profound contributions of our special military residents. To date, hundreds of thousands of quilts have been awarded to veterans across the country and we were proud to present our amazing residents with their own Quilt of Valor this Memorial Day.

We had the sweetest time at our Teddy Bear Tea at The Savoy! Residents and staff came together to enjoy tea, finger sandwiches, and wonderful company - plus a few cuddly guests of honor. Everyone brought along teddy bears and stuffed animals to donate to our local fire and police departments who will give them to children in times of crisis. It was a heartwarming afternoon full of kindness, connection, and giving back. We're so grateful to all who helped make it special. We collected 55 plushies altogether!

We're absolutely thrilled for our amazing Class of 2025 high school graduates here at The Savoy! These incredible young people have worked nights, weekends and anytime we needed them - with big hearts and even bigger smiles. They're here to stay for now, and we're so lucky to have them as part of our Savoy family. The Savoy Gracious Retirement Living

Winter Springs’ newest and best option for independent retirement living is coming soon! You may have noticed the construction at 80 Michael Blake Blvd, and while the building itself is top quality, we will offer so much more than a place to live.

At The Savoy, all utilities except telephone will be included in one reasonable monthly rent. We’ll also take care of the cooking, housekeeping, and local transportation, leaving you the time to enjoy your retirement.
