Our hearts go out to the Kimball family, as Drs. Joe & Amy Kimball mourn the loss of their son, Jackson.

To give our staff time to be present with the Kimballs, we will be closing at 1:00 pm on Monday, November 24th.

𝗙𝘂𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁!

Our registered dietitian, Missy Anker, RD, CSSD, LD, met with the Winterset Huskies girls wrestling team to talk all things fuel, from understanding macronutrients to what to eat (and when) for top performance. She covered a variety of topics, including how to balance carbs, protein, and fats, the best recovery nutrition, hydration strategies, and more.

The team had some great questions that made for great conversation!

What an awesome opportunity to help our young athletes learn how to nourish and take care of their bodies as they train, compete and grow stronger.
