An inmate wrote me this today:

"I was in the God Pod (a faith unit in the jail) in the 90's and after 25 years I ended up back in here. I quit filling my mind with the Word of God and let the devil take up residence. When I was out, I spent 2 years doing what the world wanted for treatment. I was always cheating it. When I came in this time, I resented God and didn't want to turn back to Him. I was mad at Him, the system, people on the outside, pretty much everyone but me. Well after 5 months I found LIFE ministries and while not at first did I completely turn to Him. But this program made sense to me. I would no longer be a constant failure like I feel saying I am an alcoholic at the AA meeting made me feel. But rather if I repent and live in obedience to the Lord edifying myself with His Word I would no longer live in the mess like S***m did. Thank you for helping me and being His light and going the extra mile for me. Blessings." - Bill
