I want to thank everyone for your prayers for me during my recovery from rotator cuff surgery on July 8.

I had my first postop doctor visit this morning and the doctor is very pleased with my progress and where I am in recovery. He said I was far above average compared to others in my same situation. Then I had my third physical therapy session this afternoon, I just got home, my therapist is contacting my doctor because he’s wanting to jump ahead a whole month. He said although it’s only been two weeks since surgery, I am at a place where most patients don’t get to until week 6-8. So, all good news today.

YES! It's Monday! Hooray! Yay! Mondays aren't all bad when you know you have a LIFE meeting tonight. 🙌 Every Monday evening beginning at 6:30PM there are group meetings in Winterville, LaGrange, Battleboro, and New Bern(No meeting in New Bern tonight-they are having VBS).

Why not get plugged into one of these chapters? They are free, usually there is food, 🍗and its a great time of encouragement for us all as we help one another live out the abundant life available through Christ.

From Michael, another one of our students who is working through the Life curriculum while incarcerated. Would you pray for Michael?

Hello Michael, Blessings! As you can see my name is Michael and I'm from Ohio. Ive been incarcerated for soon to be 30 yrs on a 15 to life sentence. I watched you speak on Edovo & you truly inspired me. You are actually the 1st person whom I sent a request to on Edovo that reached back out, Thank You it must be God's reasoning. I go up to try to come home in Oct for the 8th time in which hopefully God sees it fit that it works. I just recently lost my father last month on the 23rd & lost my mother in 2018. Sad thing is I was locked up just 5 days after turning 18 still I'm high school living with my parents. They came to visit every month up until my mom passed & my father had a major stroke. Its been a struggle so please keep me in your prayers. I have a yr older brother who moved to Charlotte N.C. just a few years ago as he took a coaching football job of a high school with troubled kids. They went undefeated last year & lost in the championship. I've also been in contact with a Jeff Cloud out of N.C. he is a good man and works for a Cross Road renentry place that helps people with resources once released. It is a honor to be able to reach out to you after hearing your story & following you on Edovo. I now live my life always at God right side & I like you have a mission to help save our youth. It will be a blessing if we can stay in touch & maybe u can mentor me in keeping me strong in my faith. As a kid I was raised as a Catholic & served as alter boy. Today i'm Christian

AN UPDATE FROM OUR BEAUFORT COUNTY CHAPTER IN WASHINGTON, N.C. This chapter is about 2 months active now. This is from the pastor today:

"We are consistently running between 24 and 28 each week, with about half of those being church members that are there to assist and serve. We're seeing salvations take place!"
