Our team had a fantastic time at the Yankee Dental Convention in Boston this past weekend! 🦷📚 We spent time taking continuing education courses and exploring a wide range of dental vendors on the convention floor. This allows us to stay up-to-speed on all of the latest dental techniques and technology, so that we can offer our patients the highest quality care!

🌟 Meet Dr. Howard Brooks! 🌟

Dr. Brooks has been proudly serving our community for 38 years, following in the footsteps of his father, Dr. Barry Brooks, who started the practice back in 1959. Dentistry truly runs in the family! 🦷

When asked what he loves most about being a dentist, Dr. Brooks says:
“I’ve always loved working with my hands and fixing things. Dentistry allows me to do both in a creative way. The long-term relationships I’ve built with my patients are incredibly rewarding, and it’s amazing to be able to change people’s lives in such a positive way.” He’s beyond proud of the incredible team that helps him care for patients every day — and especially proud to work alongside his daughter, Dr. Stephanie, continuing the Brooks family legacy!

Outside the office, Dr. Brooks loves staying active — whether it’s skiing, golfing, gardening, exercising, doing yoga, or cheering on his favorite Boston sports teams!

Fun Fact: Dr. Brooks grows a wide variety of hot peppers in his garden and even makes his own Sweet & Smoky Ghost Pepper Hot Sauce! His family and friends rave about it and insist it would fly off the shelves if it were sold in stores! 🌶️

Meet Dr. Andrea Shah — Our Amazing Endodontist!

Dr. Shah earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Harvard School of Dental Medicine and went on to complete her Endodontics residency at Tufts University. Before pursuing her lifelong dream of becoming a dentist, she worked as a computer engineer at Intel in California.

When asked why she chose dentistry, Dr. Shah shares, “I always knew I wanted to be a dentist. Nothing compares to taking someone out of pain and helping them smile again.” Patients love how Dr. Shah makes root canals feel easy, quick, and stress-free with her calm and caring approach.

Outside the office, Dr. Shah enjoys family ski days at Waterville Valley and weekends cheering on her kids at tennis matches.

Dr. Shah sees patients every other Thursday, right here at Brooks Dental! We’re so grateful to have her as part of our team.💙

Meet Kerri, our fantastic dental assistant with over 30 years of experience in the dental field. She has worked alongside our orthodontist Dr. Bruno for her entire career here at Brooks Dental.Kerri is an essential and versatile member of our team, assisting with everything from oral surgeries and endodontics to orthodontics and more. Kerri’s warm touch, dedication, and positive attitude shine through in everything she does. We truly appreciate her hard work!

Kerri’s favorite part about dentistry? She loves being part of her patients’ smile journeys—explaining the process, making them feel comfortable, and easing any dental anxiety. She enjoys getting to know her patients and loves that no two days are ever the same!

When she’s not at work, Kerri enjoys spending time outdoors, and spending quality time with her family ❤

Meet Dr. Stephanie Brooks. Dr. Stephanie has been part of the Brooks Dental family since 2018. She graduated from Boston University’s Goldman School of Dental Medicine—the same alma mater as her father, Dr. Brooks! The two make an incredible father-daughter team, working side by side every day. She’s always continuing her education, keeping up with the latest courses, techniques, and technology to ensure her patients receive top-notch treatment. Patients love Dr. Stephanie for her caring and gentle touch. She takes the time to make sure every visit is as comfortable and painless as possible.

Dr. Stephanie’s favorite part about dentistry? She loves helping patients feel confident and proud of their smiles. Building genuine connections with her patients is incredibly important to her—she strives to create an environment where every patient feels comfortable and trusts her with their care. Having her dad as a mentor has been such a special experience for Dr. Stephanie. His passion for dentistry inspired her to follow in his footsteps.

Outside the office, Dr. Stephanie loves to golf! She started back in 2020, inspired by her husband, and even hit a hole-in-one this year! In her free time, she also loves to work out, do yoga, and spend time with family and friends.

Meet Lina, our wonderful dental assistant who’s been an important part of the Brooks Dental team for nearly three years! Lina works closely alongside our orthodontist, Dr. Bruno, and truly enjoys supporting patients throughout their orthodontic journey. She loves helping patients achieve their best smiles through personalized care and attention.

What’s Lina’s favorite part of dentistry?
She loves helping patients feel confident and proud of their smiles. For her, there’s nothing more satisfying than seeing the joy at the end of treatment, knowing she played a part in that transformation.

Outside the office, Lina is a true foodie who loves exploring new places and restaurants. She also loves dancing and having a great time with family and friends.
