Happy New Year!!
Are you ready for some deep healing yoga classes? Here's my updated list of classes. New students can try a free class. All classes are on zoom. Email me for further information.
Modified Gentle Yoga
Formerly called Senior Yoga. This class is a 60 minute, slow, gentle class. It's a great fit for aging bodies, beginners or those who want a 60 minute gentle class. We work on maintaining balance, flexibility and strength. This is not a chair yoga class but you are welcome to use a chair as needed. The class is modifiable and Cindy encourages her students to go at their own pace and honor themselves in their individual process.
Gentle Yoga
This is a class specifically designed for students of all levels who want a gentle class. This class is longer and a bit more challenging than modified gentle yoga. Like all Cindy's classes, this class is slow, deep and meditative with the goal of increased awareness and peace. This is a 75 minute class.
Osteoporosis Yoga
Osteoporosis Yoga Classes are geared toward safety and bone growth. We work hard in this class to put weight in our bones and strengthen our muscles. I stress safe movements for all in the class but make sure we are all challenged, while honoring our individual process. These classes are workable for all who want to focus on strengthening. Like all the other classes that I teach this class is calming with the goal of increased awareness and peace.
Advanced Yoga
This class is geared for my more experienced yoga students. This class can be challenging but I accommodate all levels and encourage my students to honor themselves in their individual process. All my classes are meditative with the goal of increased awareness and peace. By offering challenging postures with less challenging options each student is encourage to let go of comparing to others and deepen their experience without hurting or over stretching their bodies.
