We captured the Sun Dog and Light Pillar overlooking the clinic! 🌈🌨️

This is an atmospheric optical effect where the sun passes through ice crystals suspended in the air. These ice crystals are hexagonal, which bend the light to form prisms. The vertical beam of light is formed when the ice crystals reflect sun light vertically, typically during a sunrise or sunset.

Dr. Lauren took one for the team to capture nature’s beauty! Good thing her hands are insured (that’s a Dr. Pat joke) 🥶-10 degrees
