Wisconsin River Orthopedics is proud to support our local community! 🏒💙

One organization especially close to our hearts is our community hockey team — the Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings. We’ve supported the Riverkings for many seasons and love watching them grow and succeed. Their games are always exciting, and the team brings incredible energy to the ice!

📅 Mark your calendars — their first home games of the season are coming up on October 17th. Come out and cheer on your local team as they hit the ice!

Fun Fact: Our very own John Egge, DPT, has been working with the athletes for 10+ years, helping keep them healthy and strong throughout the season. 💪🏽

Let’s go, Riverkings! 🥅🏒🔥

Our Story

Patients – and the doctors who refer them – like the fact that everything they need is right here, including a fully accredited onsite surgery center with state-of-the-art technology, open MRI, plus physical and occupational therapy. Most of all, patients prefer our personalized, one-on-one care. You see your own doctor at every visit, and your doctor and our staff are just a phone call away when you need help. It adds up to an outstanding patient experience. Patients take great comfort in the fact that we are the longest-established orthopaedic practice in the area, having served the community for almost 40 years. Drs. James A. Wilkes, James A. Johnson, Douglas P. Galuk, and Todd J. Duellman provide comprehensive orthopaedic surgical care. Our physicians have many years of experience and expertise in all areas of orthopaedics, including joint replacement, spine and sports medicine. They have treated thousands of patients with great results. Though our facility is every bit as professional as you would expect, it also has a homey, comfortable feeling, thanks in large part to our very personable doctors and staff.
