We completed resident photos last week. WLC will provide each participating resident with a photo of themselves, and we will mail one print to each of their children and spouse. If you would like to order additional prints, please reach out to Karista at 452-2333. All orders must be placed by Dec. 9th and photos must be ordered in bundles of 5 (5, 10, 15, etc.).

The team at Wishek Living Center is proud to announce that it has received the Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award from the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL).

This national recognition celebrates long term care and assisted living providers that demonstrate a strong commitment to quality care and continuous improvement. The Bronze Award is the first step in AHCA/NCAL’s three-level National Quality Award Program, which encourages providers to set high standards and continually enhance the lives of those they serve.

“This award really belongs to our staff,” said Tanya Schnabel, Administrator. “Their dedication and compassion show every day in the care they provide. We’re grateful to our residents, families, and community for their trust and support.”

The Bronze level recognizes providers that have built a solid foundation for quality improvement and are focused on delivering person-centered care. Each application is reviewed by a panel of trained examiners who look at how facilities are improving outcomes for residents and staff alike.

“We’re incredibly proud of our caregivers and the work they do every day,” added Schnabel. “This award is a meaningful milestone on our ongoing journey to excellence in care.”
