Thank you for the fantastic presentation this week, Patrick Doherty, our Contractor & Owner of P.C. Doherty Construction. This week Patrick showed us a stunning example of fine finish carpentry. He took us through the process of creating a wooden mantel from scratch. Patrick has an artistic eye. He has a burning desired to return to school to study English. He cares about his work & works hard to learn exactly what the clients want, even when they don’t see it themselves. He is able to interpret the project perfectly into existence. He is an honest business and has even talked clients out of large, expensive projects, when he determines that their needs can be met with more convenient solutions. He loves to play with small tolerances when it comes to measuring and cuts and takes pride in his beautiful work. Thank you for being an outstanding member, Patrick!

Thank you for the fantastic presentation this week, Amy Ortiz Villalba, our Life & Disability Insurance Agent with Primerica! Amy also has the commercial win for the week with her ask to help people who are off duty military & veterans with their insurance needs. This week Amy dedicated her presentation time to remembering 9/11 and honoring the heroes who served our country. She also explained how Primerica was able to help the families of many of the victims of that day. Since 2001, many insurance carriers have added exclusion clauses for acts of war and terrorism, but Primera has not. Amy is proud to represent Primerica in offering peace of mind to individuals and families across the country. Amy’s burning desire is to help middle income families through educating them on how to be properly protected. Thank you for all the hard work you do for us, Amy!

Matt explained the importance of Financing Contingency deadlines and how to protect oneself throughout the process. Even with the most trustworthy attorney on your side, he would urge his clients to be mindful & mark down any and all deadlines. Matt is a marvelous family man & founder of our chapter! He is incredibly intelligent and keen on best practices for real estate transactions. He explained a bit about what clients can expect when it comes to the final Closing meeting during this COVID-19 era. He informs his clients on the exact documents they need to bring & how to best prepare. He and his team are working harder than ever to help people safely finalize transactions. He recently celebrated his 15th anniversary to his amazing wife, Jen. He loves to play golf and coach his children in baseball and hockey. It takes a thorough agent to identify potential issues! Rich does not under insure clients just to get their business as other well-known companies would. He provides his clients with sound recommendations and explains the repercussions of inadequate coverage.
