What is Red Emperor's Immortal Flame and how does it work?

WHAT IT IS:
REIF is a deep tissue repair formula that penetrates in order to lift out stuck cold pathogenic factors. Warming at depth and dispersing at the surface, it promotes local circulation via vasodilation and is particularly useful when cold and blood stasis produce chronic pain where there is reduced range of motion with adhesions, scar tissue, spurs etc, whether from repetitive stress/overuse, traumatic injury, or an intermittent sedentary lifestyle.

WHAT IT ISN'T:
REIF on its own isn't going to disperse accumulations of dead blood nor knit bones after an acute traumatic injury. This would be the purview of a stage 2 or stage 3 trauma liniment.

That being said, REIF acts as a transdermal delivery system when combined with other topicals because it makes the skin more permeable by unlocking the fatty acid matrix of the lower layers of the stratum corneum.

Layering Topicals

This week a Chinese Medicine colleague of mine sent me a testimonial on his personal use of Red Emperor's Immortal Flame in combination with a 9-year Iron Palm Dit Da Jiao that I had given him.

"Just wanted to thank you again for your great Iron Palm DDJ. That stuff is awesome. My back was hurting for a couple of weeks, it felt weak and dull achy pain. I could feel facet joints not holding causing muscles not to fire properly. A few applications (each 3x of course) of the REIF and the Iron Palm made a huge difference."

REIF on its own will stop pain, reduce local inflammation, and pull out stuck cold lying underneath blood stasis. When layered with other topicals, it acts as a potentiator because it promotes local circulation while opening up the stratum corneum skin layers to allow for greater pe*******on and distribution of whatever else is being applied.

Here is how Sifu Turcotte taught me to layer REIF with other topicals when he first passed the formula down to me:
1. Apply one layer of your jiao of choice and rub it in until dry.
2. Add either REIF Liniment (1 or 2 drops) or REIF Salve (about the volume of a U.S. penny) and rub in until no longer oily to the touch.
3. Apply another layer of Jiao, then more REIF, repeating this process a total of three times.
4. After applying three layers of each, continue with Tui Na or similar soft tissue manipulation for 5-10 minutes.

Adding HEAT and MOISTURE to the skin (via a hot shower, hot towel, etc.) prior to application increases the rate of absorption of the botanicals in Red Emperor's Immortal Flame. For every 12 degree F increase in temperature of the skin, absorption roughly doubles. You do the math. At a skin temperature of 110 degrees F, twice as much awesomeness happens.

Lower the drawbridge so the Emperor and his Court can cross the moat and enter the castle.

How does Red Emperor's Immortal Flame provide exceptional value?

Why does REIF have such an instant pain-erasing and inflammation-resolving effect? Well, because it had to. Rolling safely out of a flying head break requires skill, courage, and repetition after repetition. And those reps are hard on the body. Many an Olympic hopeful have failed to appear at their respective event because their body couldn't heal fast enough to keep up with the daily grind of their training. If you can recover overnight, the training progression can continue. It's that simple.
