Sitting hunched over at a desk all day? Then you'll want to try this stretch.

This stretch will help give you relief from upper back and neck pain. It's quick and easy to do even when you're on a quick break and no need for any equipment either. Or, give it a try at the end of a long workday to help improve posture and allow for deeper breathing.

Your neck and upper back often become sore due to the pulling of the pec muscles. Click the link below to watch as our therapist, Erin, demonstrates how to do this stretch.

👉 Stand in an open doorway. Raise each arm up to the side, bent at 90-degree angles with palms forward. Rest your palms on the door frame. If this is too painful, try moving your elbows down slightly.

👉 Slowly step forward with one foot. Feel the stretch in your shoulders and chest. Stand upright and don’t lean forward.

👉 Hold for 2-5 minutes to allow for release.

How about another peaceful walk through the woods?

Our nature break videos are a nice change of pace. It feels so good to get outside, get our bodies moving, a distraction from daily life and you can learn so much from nature. Looking at the still lake, the rocks, the trees, the perfect reflection on the water.

We are only human and even though we preach self care, we are still guilty of not always practicing what we preach. Its so easy to help and take care of others, but sometimes we forget to help ourselves. I'm sure we're not the only ones guilty of this.

What is a spirit animal you ask? The Native American's believed that animals were important to life. They have a special energy and equality. They used the special qualities of the animals as a teacher or messenger they felt a personal connection to.

Feeling stressed out?

So many of us have now become teachers to our children while still trying to maintain balance with all the other "jobs" we have in our day to day life. Regardless of whether or not you have kids, I'm sure many of us have had to take on different roles causing its own level of stress just trying to adapt.

Nicole is teaching a few of her techniques to help with stress relief. This can be done at home so you can do it any time you're feeling the stress and need to unwind and reset. She has 4 different exercises you can try:
