Not all supplements are created equal. Ortho Molecular Products are practitioner-exclusive, peer-reviewed, and clinically studied formulas.

Two popular options available at the practice include Calocurb Clinical, which supports appetite control by activating the body’s natural satiety hormones, and HiPhenolic, a polyphenolic blend that supports healthy blood pressure, metabolism, and weight management.

These are not one-size-fits-all. Before starting any new supplement, come in first. A full chart review helps determine what is actually right for your body.

Connecticut’s future of care is sitting in classrooms right now. Jeff, our COO, had the opportunity to speak with future healthcare providers at Kaynor Tech High School about what modern, patient-centered care really looks like. There is no greater investment than the ones we make in the people who will go on to serve others.

This International Women’s Day, we find ourselves reflecting on what makes The Modern Woman Health & Wellness Center truly special, and the answer has always been the women at the heart of it.

As a practice built exclusively around women’s health, we are deeply grateful for every patient who places their trust in our hands, and for the extraordinary predominantly all-female team who shows up with dedication and heart each and every day.

Meet Irma and Johana, the warm, familiar faces that greet you the moment you walk through our doors. Their presence sets the tone for everything we stand for: care that feels personal, compassionate, and genuinely invested in your wellbeing.

We remain honored to be the practice you turn to through every stage of your journey. Here’s to the women who inspire us, today and every day.

This Women’s History Month, we are honoring 5 remarkable Connecticut women who changed the face of medicine and public health: Joyce Yerwood, Annie Keeler Bailey, Ann Petry, Emily Dunning Barringer, and Hilda Crosby Standish. From the first Black female doctor in Fairfield County to a pioneer who helped legalize birth control in our state, these trailblazers broke barriers so future generations of women could thrive. Read their full stories and explore our sources at the link in bio.

Our CEO, Jeff Gonzalez, testified virtually to the State of Connecticut in support of HB 5378. This bill, An Act Concerning Self-Funded Multiple Employer Welfare Arrangements, requires a study on the feasibility of establishing the Connecticut Option Program.

We need to act now to address the skyrocketing cost of healthcare for small business employers.

Clinical observations show that heart disease in women often follows an unpredictable path. It can remain entirely asymptomatic until a major event occurs. While some may experience subtle signs like unusual fatigue or jaw pain, many have no warning at all.

Staying informed about the diverse range of symptoms is a vital first step for early intervention. Beyond typical chest pressure, women may experience shortness of breath, nausea, lightheadedness, or pain localized in the neck and upper back. These signals are frequently mistaken for indigestion or stress, making it critical to listen to your body and seek professional evaluation whenever something feels “off.”

Healthy choices in nutrition and movement form the foundation of your wellness. Routine clinical visits allow for the monitoring of vital statistics like blood pressure and cholesterol that often go unnoticed on a daily basis. Maintaining these appointments is a critical preventive health strategy to identify risks before they escalate.

Art therapy provides a clinical pathway for patients to process complex emotions when traditional talk therapy reaches its limits. By using creative expression as a formal therapeutic modality, individuals can externalize internal conflict and achieve a state of physiological and mental regulation.

The clinical results of this practice are measurable. A study published in the Journal of the American Art Therapy Association demonstrated that after just 10 sessions of art therapy, patients experienced a 35% reduction in overall psychological distress (Slayton et al., 2010). This improvement highlights the efficacy of using creative tools to address symptoms of trauma, anxiety, and depression.

Caitlin Iannucci integrates these evidence-based techniques into her sessions. As a Board-Certified Art Therapist and Perinatal and Grief Specialist, she works with patients facing postpartum depression, prenatal anxiety, infertility, birth trauma, and pregnancy loss. Her trauma-informed clinical approach helps individuals navigate deep loss and life transitions with expertise and care.
