Director of Sports Medicine, Nutrition, and Performance

St. John Regional School and Bishop Brady High School are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Erik O. Nelson, ND as the Director of Sports Medicine, Nutrition, and Performance. In this newly created role, Dr. Nelson will oversee the health and wellness of student-athletes at both schools, strengthening a shared vision to
provide every student-athlete with a rewarding athletic and academic experience.

Dr. Nelson brings extensive expertise in sports medicine and naturopathic care. He will guide best practices for athlete health, including injury prevention, recovery protocols, nutrition, and conditioning programs designed to support peak performance.

With Dr. Nelson’s leadership, both schools are excited to elevate the care and support offered to their student-athletes. His appointment reflects a lasting investment in building a culture of health, safety, and performance that will benefit students today and for years to come.

St. John’s Regional School and Bishop Brady High School look forward to the positive impact this newly created position filled by Dr. Nelson will have as part of their continued commitment to excellence in academics, athletics, and student-athlete wellness.
