Grato Holdings is the parent company for several homeopathic companies We manufacture homeopathic remedies, herbal products, and nutritional supplements.

We produce formulations for our own brands, as well as on a contract basis for distribution and marketing companies that share our commitment to products that truly improve people’s lives. Rick Follmann
Grato Holdings is celebrating Rick’s 8-year anniversary on May 21st. Rick started in the maintenance department then moved to the shipping and receiving department in Woodbine, Iowa. Rick’s favorite part of the job is getting to go to different buildings and interacting with his coworkers. Rick also enjoys seeing trucks loaded with our product, knowing how many people it took to get it to that point. Rick states that he enjoys seeing all the new remodeled projects come to life over the years and the new equipment upgrades. Thank you, Rick; we appreciate everything you do for Grato.

Grato Holdings is celebrating Gabriela’s 3-year anniversary on May 15th. Gabriela who goes by “Gabby” works as a Production Technician II (Trainer) in the packaging department for Grato, based in Gainesville, Georgia. Gabby says her favorite part of the job is mentoring her coworkers and teaching new associates the packaging process.

Grato Holdings is celebrating Gene’s 6-year anniversary on May 11th. Gene works as an Herb Farmer for Grato, based in Woodbine, Iowa. Gene says his favorite part of the job is growing different herbs, knowing they will be used to improve people’s health.

Grato Holdings is celebrating Dr. Tao Bai’s 28-year anniversary on May 4th. Dr. Bai serves as the Lab Manager in Woodbine, Iowa and plays a key role in supporting laboratory operations and innovation. His responsibilities include conducting research and development, developing and optimizing formulas, reviewing laboratory reports and document change requests, and contributing to the development and modification of analytical methods. Dr. Bai says he enjoys the R&D product projects and weekly R&D meeting.
We appreciate Dr. Bai’s long-standing commitment, technical expertise, and continued contributions to the success and advancement of Grato Holdings.

Grato Holdings is celebrating Toni’s 20-year anniversary on April 17th. Toni is the Customer Service and Product Trainer based in Woodbine, Iowa. Toni’s favorite part of the job is helping people, by educating them on our products and providing our customers with any information, so they can help their patients and customers. Toni takes pride in supporting and helping her fellow co-workers when they too need help with certain projects and teaching them how to help others on the phone. Toni has enjoyed working with everyone at Grato over the years.

Jesus’s previous roles were as a Production Technician and Inventory Specialist but currently works as a Quality Control Technician on second shift. Grato Holdings is celebrating Emily Schmidt’s 1-year anniversary on February 17. Emily works at the Woodbine, Iowa facility and currently holds the position of Master Batch Record Specialist. Emily enjoys learning and working on creating the Product Design Information Sheet (PDI), Formula Cards and Master Batch Records, as well as being a part of the Quality team dynamic. In Emily’s free time, she enjoys going to church at Dream City in Omaha, NE, where she serves in their Coffee Shop and attends small group gatherings.

Grato Holdings is celebrating Mike Colwell’s 2-year anniversary on February 12th. Mike is a Production Supervisor at the Woodbine, Iowa facility in the Tablet and Capsule department. Mike stated his favorite part of his job at Grato is working as a team to accomplish production goals. Regardless of the hurdles they face, each team member does their job to the best of their abilities, ensuring the department achieve what they set out to do. Mike and his wife, Becky reside in Woodbine, and they have three children, Emily Perry (25) (son-in-law, Jeff), Nathan (21) and Aaron (18). They also have a 6-month-old grandson, Tatum. In Mike’s free time he enjoys baking, building, and fishing. Mike has played an integral role in the improvement of servicing Grato’s customers as well as company culture. Grato is extremely thankful to have him as a key contributor.

Grato Holdings is celebrating Sarah Seda’s 16-year anniversary on February 8. Sarah works at the Woodbine, Iowa facility and currently holds several positions, Accounting Assistant, Executive Assistant and Safety Coordinator. Sarah started her career with Grato Holdings in the customer service area. Sarah, her spouse Dustin and 16-year-old daughter, Izabelle live in Woodbine. Sarah keeps busy going to her daughter’s many activities. When she has time to do other things, she is watching football, basketball, reading, playing video games or board games with the family.

Sarah has enjoyed many aspects of the several positions she has been lucky to hold. She has been able to speak to customers firsthand to learning the workings of the financials and working with the executive team. Being the Safety Coordinator has given her the chance to meet all the employees. Sarah looks forward to continuing to learn more aspects of Grato Holdings.
