Vestibular rehabilitation and concussion therapy features a suite of techniques:

Balance training involves exercises and activities designed to improve stability, equilibrium, and coordination to reduce the risk of falls and enhance overall balance

Gaze stabilization techniques involve exercises that enhance the ability to improve visual focus while the head is stationary or in motion, and also during various body movements

Habituation exercises involve gradually exposing individuals to movements or situations that provoke symptoms, aiming to reduce sensitivity and minimize symptoms over time

Proprioception training involves exercises to enhance body awareness and control of movement and positioning without relying on vision.

Optokinetic training is a visual exercise technique that involves following moving objects to improve gaze stability and visual tracking, which helps recalibrate the connection between the visual system and the vestibular system

Virtual reality (VR) is a technology used in some rehabilitation settings, including vestibular and concussion therapy, to simulate environments or tasks for therapeutic purposes, aiding in balance retraining, visual processing, and cognitive exercises

Canalith repositioning maneuvers to treat benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) by relocating misplaced inner ear crystals to alleviate dizziness or vertigo symptoms
