Hi everyone 🤍 I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself.

My name is Jamie Clayton, and I’m the owner and licensed optician at Eyestyles of Woodbridge for 27 years . Happily married with a beautiful teenage daughter, Lena Marie. Our newest location is right in the heart of downtown—on the corner of Main Street and St. George Avenue, next to the iconic REO Diner.

I’ve been in the optical field since 1998, and about 17 years ago, I had the opportunity to take ownership of the practice. It’s truly been an incredible journey. Eyecare and Vision has always fascinated me. I grew up right here in Woodbridge and graduated from Woodbridge High School, so this community is home to me in every sense of the word.

Eye care is something I take very seriously. Over the years, I’ve gained experience in all facets of optics, but one of my greatest passions is working in pediatrics. Helping children see clearly and confidently is something that means so much to me.

We’re proud to have two doctors of optometry in our office—both a male and female doctor—to make sure every patient feels comfortable and cared for. I’m especially excited to welcome Dr. Melissa Solis, who joined us about 8 months ago from Carteret Eye Care. She has been such an incredible asset to our practice and our patients already love her.
