🍂happy autumn equinox🍂

as autumn arrives, we enter the season of the metal element in traditional Chinese medicine—linked with the lungs and large intestine. this season teaches us the sacred art of release: letting go of what no longer serves so we can make space for clarity, breath, and renewal.

the lungs invite us to breathe deeply, to process grief, and to find stillness within change. If you’ve been holding tension in your chest, feeling heavy with old emotions, or craving more grounding, it may be your body’s way of calling for support.

this is where my offerings meet you. through breathwork healing, energy medicine, bodywork, and somatic practices, I hold the container for your release. helping you clear emotional weight, reconnect with your body, and restore your inner balance.

this fall, let’s honor the wisdom of the season. let’s breathe, let go, and return home to ourselves.

until healing showed me another way.

have you ever felt pressure to assimilate, to “blend in” just to survive?

We may be small, but our pride is big. From pupusas to our funny-dark sense of humor, Salvadorans know how to live with corazĂłn.

Give me pupusas and Netflix and I’m set 😎

Today also marks the beginning of Latine Heritage Month (9/15–10/15)—a time to celebrate the history, resilience, and joy of all our communities across Latin America. May we continue to honor our roots while creating new stories to be proud of

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Late Summer is connected to the Spleen and Stomach meridians and the emotion of worry or overthinking. When balanced, this season brings stability, clarity, and a sense of being nourished—both physically and emotionally. But when imbalanced, it can show up as rumination, anxiety, or feeling ungrounded.

That’s why a pose like Supine Baddha Konasana feels like medicine. This restorative shape supports the spleen meridian, soothes the nervous system, and gently invites us to release worry by softening into the earth beneath us. It reminds us that grounding and nourishment are not luxuries—they’re vital.

Not every season calls us to begin something new. Sometimes, it’s about returning to what sustains us—adjusting a ritual, honoring stillness, or simply remembering that grounding practices.

Late Summer has quietly become one of my favorite seasons—not just because it holds my birthday, but because of how deeply grounding it feels.

We move from the fiery, playful energy of peak summer into the steadiness of Earth element. This season reminds us of the power of routines, regulation, and rituals—the practices that nourish us and bring us back to center.

Astrologically, Virgo also embodies this earthy energy, and maybe that’s why I feel most at home now. Even when life throws curveballs, this season reminds me: I can stay rooted. I can slow down. I can tend to my body and spirit.

For years, I didn’t realize how connected I was to this season. Now I see it clearly: Late Summer holds me, grounds me, and teaches me to soften into the cycles of life.

What ritual is holding you as we move toward Fall?

end of the month reflections

agosto! my fave month of the year because I get to reflect, celebrate, and thank ME!

finally completed my trade hours. because i started early on I was able to be done sooner rather than later.

appreciate all the love and birthday wishes. they filled my heart with so much joy and gratitude. thank you to everyone who took the time to send me a quick or long message. it’s the heart that matters.

curiosity in some way has led to where we are today. or the lack of curiosity has kept us in a stagnant cycle. choose curiosity.

moving slowly and intentionally in kindness. i had to two weeks off from school and i took advantage to get hands-on hours and still enjoy my birthday, catching up with peeps, and celebrating ME for days!

last month in the LMT program, final exam, and submitting my case study. the final exam is on all the muscles attachment points. phew! and my case study has been going well and can see the difference my work is making.
