We were treated to something truly special today 🎶💛

The Woodburn Community Chorus joined us and filled our community with beautiful music and heartfelt performances. Their voices brought so much joy. We tapped their toes, sang along, and soaked in every moment.

Loren and Joaquin from our Memory Care community got their hands a little dirty today—in the best way! 🌱💚

These guys came together to plant our indoor garden, filling pots with fresh soil, vibrant greenery, and lots of love. Gardening is such a wonderful way to spark the senses, encourage connection, and create a calming, purposeful activity—and today was no exception.

There’s something so special about watching our garden grow, knowing it was planted with care by such amazing hands. We can’t wait to see it flourish! 🌼🌿

Sunday = FUNday, and you know what that means… BINGO BASH! 🎉

Our residents brought their game faces and lucky charms for an afternoon full of excitement, laughter, and just a little friendly competition. The room was buzzing with anticipation as numbers were called and everyone hoped to be the next big winner!

Our 🌿Golden Gardeners🌿 have been busy bringing even more life and color into our community! Today, our Memory Care residents, Raquel and Laverne turned their attention indoors, planting our indoor garden beds with care and creativity.

With hands in the soil and smiles all around, residents enjoyed the calming, sensory experience of planting, choosing what to grow, arranging each plant just right, and watering their new creations. Gardening is such a wonderful way to spark memories, encourage connection, and nurture a sense of purpose.

Our Golden Gardeners were hard at work today, bringing color and life to our 2nd story deck! 🌸🌿 With hands in the soil and smiles all around, residents planted beautiful flowers that will soon brighten the space for everyone to enjoy.

While our delicious potato chip chocolate chip cookies were baking, the fun didn’t stop! 🍪🎲

To pass the time, we gathered around for a lively game of Jenga—and let’s just say, things got exciting fast! There were lots of laughs, a few suspenseful moments, and plenty of cheers as the tower grew taller and wobblier with each turn.

It was the perfect way to keep the energy going while we waited for those sweet treats to come out of the oven. And of course, nothing pairs better with a little friendly competition than fresh, warm cookies at the end!

Today’s Cook2Connect class brought a fun and delicious twist to a classic favorite! 🍪✨

Our residents rolled up their sleeves and got creative making potato chip chocolate chip cookies—the perfect mix of sweet and salty. There were plenty of smiles (and a little curiosity!) as everyone wondered how this unique combo would turn out… and let’s just say, they did not disappoint!

From crushing the chips to mixing the dough and, of course, enjoying the final product, it was a wonderful time filled with laughter, teamwork, and tasty treats.

Activities like Cook2Connect are such a great way to spark creativity, encourage connection, and enjoy the simple joy of baking together. And today, we definitely baked up something special! 💛
