Travel Club Visits Nye Beach!

Our Travel Club enjoyed a delightful outing to Nye Beach on the beautiful Oregon Coast! Residents dined at The Chowder Bowl, savoring delicious seafood and great company. The weather was breezy but pleasant—perfect for a coastal adventure!

After lunch, our wonderful driver John took everyone on a scenic drive down to the Bay Front, where we soaked in the views and made more cherished memories.

It is with sadness and sorrow that Cascade Park recently lost our Mascot, Maggie.

For six wonderful years, Maggie lived here with our dear resident Bob Rummer. When Bob could no longer care for her, our Lifestyles Director, Kate, lovingly took her in.

Every Monday, Maggie returned with Kate, bringing joy, comfort, and a wagging tail. “Maggie Mondays” became a treasured tradition—she never let us start exercise class without her share of pets and love. Maggie was more than a pet—she was family. She was a sweet soul and will be deeply missed by residents and associates alike.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find peace knowing Maggie is in a better place. Thank you, Maggie, for the love and light you brought into our lives
