This past Thursday, our halls were filled with lots of warmth and laughter as we celebrated our annual Thanksgiving lunch! It was such a joy to see our beloved residents surrounded by their cherished friends and family. We are incredibly thankful for our residents, their loving families, and our dedicated staff who made the day so memorable. These moments of togetherness are what truly make our community feel like home.

Our hearts are still full after celebrating our wonderful veteran residents! We know this post is a day late, but our appreciation for their courage and service is endless! ❤️

A huge thank you to the Kristi Bizon from Vista River Hospice for joining us and making the celebration even more special. Our veterans looked absolutely amazing, and we are so proud to honor these heroes every single day. We love and appreciate you all!💙

The results are in! Our pumpkin garland craft time was a huge success, and the finished products are absolutely gorgeous! The best part was the joy and laughter shared by everyone who participated. Even our sweet friends who preferred to stay behind the scenes had a fantastic time making these fall decorations! 🧡Come see the festive cheer! Our handmade pumpkin garlands are proudly hanging on the main bulletin boards by the dining area. They look amazing!🎃

We’re a little late sharing, but we couldn’t miss the chance to show off just how amazing our Halloween celebration was! 👻Our residents and staff dressed up in the sweetest, silliest, and most creative costumes and our costume contest winners truly stole the show! And to make the day even more special, Uncle Dave joined us for a festive Halloween performance that had everyone smiling, clapping, and singing along. 🧟

Trunk-or-Treat Canceled Due to Weather❗️❗️
We’re sad to share that our Trunk-or-Treat event scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled due to bad weather. We’re currently waiting for a new date to be announced, stay tuned for updates!
But don’t worry, the Halloween fun isn’t over! Join us for our Trick-or-Treat event on October 31st from 3:00–5:00 PM here at Heartwood Place Memory Care. Our wonderful residents can’t wait to hand out candy and see all the little ghosts and goblins in their costumes! All ages are welcome — we’d love to see you there! 💛
