Comedy Night Thursday at - there will be 4 comics including our very own and . Please sign up at the front desk or text us! $10 paid to Rachel for the comics!

Let’s talk about one of the most common fitness myths out there today:

👉 “I work out fasted to burn more fat.”

It sounds logical—but for most women (and many men too), it can actually do more harm than good!

⚠️ Especially if you’re under stress, navigating hormonal changes, or doing high-intensity or strength training—fasted workouts can increase stress hormones, break down muscle, and stall progress.

The truth is:
🌟Fueling before your workout supports your hormones, energy, metabolism, helps maintain muscle SO THAT YOU BURN FAT, and long-term results.

You don’t need a full meal. Even a quick snack—like half a banana with nut butter or a little protein—can make a huge difference.

And yes, men can tolerate fasted training a bit better… but that doesn’t mean it’s optimal—especially for performance and recovery.
