We’ve already donated over 600 pounds goods this month and are collecting through December 5th! Thank you so much for your generosity!

🛒 What We’re Collecting:

•Non-perishable food items (canned goods, pasta, rice, soups, ravioli, chili, and similar ready-to-eat items etc.)

•Cooking & Baking Items (oils, flour, spices, cake mixes)

•Grocery store or gas gift cards ($25 dollars or less)

•Household Items (laundry detergent, dish soap, paper towels and napkins)

•Personal Care Items (diapers and pull-ups, adult incontinence products, baby wipes, pads and tampons, shampoo, toothpaste and body wash)

📅 Drive Dates: 11/3/2025– 12/5/2025

📍 Drop-off Location: Family Achievement Center Locations

All donations will go directly to VEAP in Bloomington and Basic Needs in Cottage Grove, helping families in our community. Check out their websites for more details at www.veap.org and www.basicneedsmn.org

Family Achievement Center has immediate mid-day appointments available for Occupational, Speech, and/or Physical Therapy. At this time, we continue to have a waitlist for after school appointments but we do have some immediate availability for appointments during the morning and middle of the day. We are also able to provide an ‘excused’ letter if requested by your child’s school.

We also offer a same day schedule option and following the evaluation, if the evaluating therapist decides it is therapeutically beneficial and appropriate, clients can choose to schedule week to week while waiting for their preferred appointment time.

If you have any flexibility in your child’s schedule, you can avoid the waitlist and schedule mid-day appointments immediately.
