5 years ago today, I opened our office in Woodbury. After nearly 8 years of working in a large, typical physican's office setting, I wanted to change how I see patients. I wanted my practice to be more focused on the doctor-patient relationship which would afford me more time with my patients than I was able to have in my previous practice. Eye Plastic Surgery of Minnesota was born from this desire and what we have created now is a boutique-style practice where our office visits can extend up to an hour long, allowing us to thoroughly discuss our patients' wishes and medical needs, and formulate individualized treatments plans for the best outcomes. Over the past 5 years, we have seen thousands of patients and the results have been wonderful. Patients are extremely pleased with their experiences in our office and have had amazing results. They tell us frequently that seeing us is unlike any other doctor visit they've had - no long waits in the waiting room, no phone calls long enough for them to memorize the hold music, quick scheduling, and upfront and honest discussions about their care with total transparency of the costs associated with their surgery.

Additionally, over the past several years, patients have voted us the Best Cosmetic Surgery practice in Minnesota, in both 2022 and 2023, as well as a top Overall Eye Surgery practice in 2023 where we were competing with large Ophthalmology practices of all types (not just oculoplastic surgeons). Dr. Dewan has lived in the east metro since 2002 and is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and University of Minnesota Medical school. He completed a two-year fellowship focusing entirely on the eyelids and other periocular concerns at Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery PLLC in Albany, NY.
