3 Keys to Success 🔑

1️⃣ Be consistent. It doesn’t happen overnight. Real change takes time, commitment, and consistency. Show up rain or shine—even when you don’t feel like it. Make it your priority again and again. No excuses. Just show up and get it done. Never quit—maybe take a short break, but never walk away from yourself. It won’t be perfect every time, but if you keep showing up, the results will be amazing. That’s consistency. 💪

2️⃣ Be disciplined. Discipline means doing what you said you’d do—even when you don’t feel like it. When it gets tough, you get tougher. When that voice says “you can’t,” you say “hell no.” You show up, keep your commitment, and don’t quit on yourself. Discipline earns results and success. 🔥

3️⃣ Be sensible. Be smart. Push yourself, but within reason. Overdoing it or going all-or-nothing won’t get you to the finish line. Balance your workouts, meals, and rest. Know when to push and when to pause. That’s how you reach your goals successfully. ⚖️

🌿 Whether you just started following or have been here from the beginning, let’s rewind for a quick re-intro.

💪 With a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Hofstra, I’ve spent over 30 years in the fitness field helping people build strength, find balance, and create sustainable health habits.

I’m a:
• NASM Certified Personal Trainer
• Precision Nutrition L1 Coach
• Student in Balanced Body and Power Pilates working towards my comprehensive certification

I’ve had the privilege of working with clients at Lifetime Fitness for years, and then since 2019 I have brought all that experience (and passion!) directly to you. Training out of my home with a full gym & reformer Pilates studio.

Beyond fitness, I’m a proud mom of two boys, wife to (of The Print Lab of Northport ❤️), and fur-mama to 2 dogs and a cat. Originally from Plainview- you’ll usually find me outdoors — paddle boarding on the North Shore Beaches & taking in the sun on the South Shore beaches, hiking Cold Spring Harbor, or just soaking up everything I love about Long Island & all it has to offer. 🌊

At the heart of everything I do is the belief that true health comes from balance — a strong body AND a healthy mind.

Shelley… we’ve been training 2x a week religiously for about 20 years… this year Shelley has not one but 2 knees replaced. It took a little time recovering and we had some ups and downs but today she has reached a new level! She told me over the weekend she was watching TV and crossing her legs, just like this!! I cried when she showed me. She told me she couldn’t remember the last time she crossed her legs!! I couldn’t be prouder of her for her perseverance, and dedication to herself and to me and for getting back up on her feet again better than ever!! ❤️

It has been a sourdough journey. One I never thought I would be capable of taking. I have enjoyed this process of making bread. From growing the starter, to making the breads to waiting for them to rise and bake… these breads are no joke. Each one is a labor of love. I am grateful to my friend Natalie who has been helping me learn along the way. And for her countless number of GF sourdough breads that she has made for me up until these breads.

Here’s some help for getting back on track after a holiday. Organize! Plan your meals, make a list of ingredients you’ll need. Lots of protein, vegetables and healthy fats. Whole Foods is ideal. Go shopping for 3-5 meals at the beginning of the week. Keep it simple. Take your leftovers for lunch. Now you’re getting on track! The scale will reflect this and you’ll look and feel better too! Banana Blueberry GF cake

4 eggs
2 bananas
Tbsp maple syrup
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
Tbsp vanilla
2tbsp Cinnamon
1tsp Salt
1tsp baking soda
1 cup almond flour
1 cup organic oats
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
1 cup organic blueberries
Butter for greasing pan

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a bowl mash ripe bananas, add beaten eggs, vanilla, and maple syrup and almond milk. Mix well.
Add oats, almond flour, salt, baking soda, whey protein and cinnamon mix dry together with wet ingredients until smooth and well mixed. Add blueberries. Mix in evenly. Pour into a round buttered baking pan. Bake for 350 degrees for about 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out dry.. let cool for 10-15 minutes. Remove from pan and enjoy!
