Reminder : You are a cyclical being in a linear world . Wintering and hibernating is a natural instinct when the light begins to shifts . Surrender to it . The resistance in your mind , telling us we must continue to hustle and show up at the same capacity as we did in summer is what creates shame and guilt and makes you more likely to have (SAD) Seasonal Affective Disorder. Surrender , rest , send those roots deep so that you have energy to push out buds in the spring and blossom in the summer . Honor your place in nature , honor the season. Stay wild and connected . Stay active during the daylight hours and allow your self to slow and rest with the sun . Early humans would take stock and hibernate in the winter , staying warm in caves , resting close with their families and surviving off of their fall harvest . It’s literally in our DNA
