Don’t Let Fireworks Myths Fool You! 🎇
As Independence Day nears, keep your eyes and your loved ones safe by knowing the facts:

Myth #1: Consumer fireworks are harmless.
Fact: They can cause serious eye injuries like burns, abrasions, and even retinal detachment. Always wear eye protection.

Myth #2: Sparklers are safe for kids.
Fact: Sparklers burn at over 2,000°F ! That's hot enough to melt some metals!

Myth #3: Duds are harmless.
Fact: Never try to relight a dud. Soak it in water and toss it safely.

Myth #4: Only those lighting fireworks are at risk.
Fact: Most injuries happen to bystanders. Watch from at least 500 feet away and wear protective eyewear.
