Twice a year, the Saint Therese of Woodbury Choir brings residents, families and guests together for a one-hour performance filled with harmony, nostalgia, and connection.

Their most recent concert in late June, "Music from the Movies," featured classics like Singin’ in the Rain, Let's Go Fly A Kite, and Que Sera Sera. But behind the scenes? Months of rehearsals and a deep sense of community. Founded in 2018 by retired nurse and pianist Therese Stecher, this choir isn’t just about music—it’s about joy, purpose, and togetherness.

Over the weekend we had a unique mural painted in the art room at Saint Therese of Woodbury. Why? We have one wall in the room where all of our specialty recycling services are located, and our residents decided they wanted to add some color to the room and take pride in all of the fabulous recycling efforts that our community has been working on. The mural is meant to highlight all the different types of recycling that Saint Therese does, and how much we care about keeping our community clean!

A legacy nearly 60 years in the making.

As the Saint Therese Auxiliary formally disbands, its impact continues—through stories, friendships, and two permanent endowment funds that will support our residents for generations to come. From running gift shops to organizing Twins outings, these dedicated volunteers made Saint Therese feel like home.

Saint Therese of Woodbury staff and our residents took home the Pull for a Cause trophy. Woodbury collected 26.21 pounds of tabs last quarter for the Ronald McDonald House in Minneapolis. That's over 30,000 tabs, according to Google's estimate! Thank you Woodbury!
