The Redwoods Independent Senior Living at Saint Therese of Woodbury enjoyed a fantastic dinner served in the Redwoods community room last evening. The four course meal was prepared by our talented culinary team. Also in attendance were Tony Keelin, Executive Director and Jen Bettencourt, Vice President of Philanthropy.

Menu featured:

*Seared walleye cakes with tarragon caper aioli
*Tomato, basil, and cucumber panzanella with tomato balsamic vinaigrette
*Bourbon caramelized peach salmon
*Zucchini parmesan
*Sun-dried tomato risotto
*Chocolate-dipped mocha cannoli

It was a wonderful evening filled with incredible flavors, great conversation, and a strong sense of community. Thank you to our culinary team for creating a memorable dining experience for our residents! ❤️

March is National Social Work Month, a time to recognize the compassion, expertise, and dedication social workers bring to the people they serve.

At Saint Therese senior communities, social workers support residents and families through important life transitions, offering guidance, advocacy, and a listening ear. Their work helps ensure every person feels respected, understood, and supported.

Saint Therese of Woodbury recently received a thoughtful gift that will bring comfort to residents and families during some of life’s most tender moments.

Through the generosity of dedicated donors, two hospice comfort carts were donated to support residents and families during end-of-life care.

The carts were handcrafted by Dave Meyer of Meyer and Sons Designs in Hudson, Wisconsin, who generously donated his time and expertise to build them. Designed to be both practical and discreet, the carts provide helpful supplies and comfort items for families when a resident is nearing end of life.

We are deeply grateful for the generosity that made this meaningful gift possible.

There was a sea of red to be found everywhere with team members wearing their special new sweatshirts!

Our day started with donuts in the bistro, followed by a special mass in our chapel, then we continued into the afternoon with a champagne and cake toast to 10 years in our dining room, followed by our ribbon cutting event in the lobby and quickly we moved into the chapel for entertainment by The Floras! Ending our day with a fabulous meal from our culinary team!

It was a fantastic way to celebrate the last 10 years! Thank you to everyone who helped make the day a great one for both residents and staff!

Yesterday was a day to remember at Saint Therese of Woodbury as we celebrated our 10-year anniversary in fine fashion with a full slate of activities from morning to evening. The celebration began with donuts and coffee and continued with a cake and champagne reception honoring the 31 residents who moved in when the community first opened. We proudly call them our Pioneers, and we are grateful they still call this community home today.

We also recognized 12 Saint Therese and Ascend Rehabilitation employees who have been part of the Woodbury community since the very beginning, celebrating an incredible 10 years of dedication and service.

The festivities continued with a ribbon cutting with the Woodbury Area Chamber of Commerce, followed by a music performance and a special dinner to close out the evening. Adding to the fun, many team members wore special Saint Therese Woodbury anniversary sweatshirts, created just for the occasion and generously funded by the Saint Therese Foundation.

Thank you to our residents, families, team members and community partners who helped make the past decade so meaningful. Here's to the next chapter at Saint Therese of Woodbury!
