In March, Saint Therese of Woodbury residents, families, and staff gathered to celebrate a meaningful milestone: 10 years of community in Woodbury. As part of that celebration, we’re revisiting the story of the residents who were there from the very beginning, the Pioneers who helped shape it.

Bailey Elementary students made "Spring Flowers" for our residents at Saint Therese of Woodbury. Their teacher, Margaret is a Wednesday evening and Saturday afternoon volunteer here and brought them in to share with all of her friends on Wednesday evening. Featured in the photo are the sons of one of our therapists, Thank you so much for your kindness! They are adorable!

This afternoon the residents from The Alpines at Saint Therese went to New Life Academy of Woodbury to see Frozen the musical! They all had a lovely time and said the music was fantastic!

April is National Volunteer Appreciation Month! We are so very blessed to have 130 active volunteers at Saint Therese of Woodbury acting out our mission every day…to do ordinary things with extraordinary love for our residents. As a small token of our appreciation each volunteer has been gifted with a cool Saint Therese Volunteer Services string backpack. We thank all of our awesome volunteers! 💫

Today, as part of our OARS initiatives, our leaders participated in a Lunch & Learn session focused on Just Culture and divergent thinking. The discussion centered on creating a safe, accountable environment where learning and growth are encouraged, while also exploring innovative ways to approach challenges from different perspectives.

It was a great opportunity for leaders to collaborate, reflect, and strengthen their commitment to a culture of trust, curiosity, and continuous improvement.

Today, dressed in our spring attire we took the bus to Minnesota Masonic Homes to watch “Birthday Candles” at their Sidekick Theatre! Lunch was fabulous and the play was absolutely adorable! Couldn’t have been a more beautiful day for a drive.

Residents and staff came together for a wonderful walk filled with music, ice cream sundaes, and a fun photo booth. For residents who were not able to go outside, we also organized an indoor walk so everyone could participate and feel included.

This event was thoughtfully organized by the Champion Team at Woodbury to promote resident and staff engagement, as well as raise awareness.

We are hosting two walks today—our first was at 11:00 AM, and the second will take place at 4:00 PM.
