Exciting news! Midwest ENT’s new Lakeville clinic has been named as a finalist in the medical property category of RE Journals Real Estate Awards!

This 14,000 SF, single-tenant development opened in April 2025 after just 10 months of construction, bringing ENT, Allergy, Facial Plastics, and Medical Spa specialties to the growing south metro community. The project exemplifies Davis' strategic approach to healthcare real estate—from securing prime site access through creative problem-solving to delivering a custom-designed medical outpatient building that optimizes both patient flow and staff performance.

🌟 Staff Spotlight: Judy🌟
Judy has been working for Midwest ENT for 27 years as a dedicated Patient Services Representative.

Beyond her expertise, her peers highlight her for providing outstanding customer service both internally and externally. Patients will wait in her line to check in just to have some extra time with her. Floating staff always make it a point to come to the front to say hello, and Judy is always happy to see them. When training new PSR’s, they always say they want to work with her at Vadnais Heights. She has an energy that pulls you in and automatically puts you in a great mood. She is knowledgeable in her role and always willing to help, even outside her role. She is an excellent role model and the best co-worker you can ask for. Her peers consistently say how lucky they are to work with her.

Outside of work, Judy is a proud wife and devoted mother of two. She treasures time with her close-knit family and her beloved dog, Axel. She loves all things outdoors, enjoys trying new restaurants, and plays an active role in helping with the family business.

Annie has been with Midwest ENT for almost 2 years. She is a seasoned customer service leader with over 25 years of experience delighting clients across the beauty, travel, and medical industries. 🌟 Staff Spotlight: Yer🌟

Yer has been with Midwest ENT since December 2023. She completed the Stepful program in October 2024 and became a certified clinical medical assistant. Yer has been taking general courses at Century College as a part time student. Her time at Midwest ENT has sparked interest in the surgical technology program for which she plans to transfer to St. Paul College to enroll in.

Beyond her expertise her peers highlight her for being amazing she works so hard and is such a team player. She is always ready to jump in and help no matter what her team needs. She always has such a positive attitude, never complains and is always so willing to help others. Her team members are always so pleased when they see she is scheduled on their team.

Outside of work she has three children, Elijah (6), Unity (3), Kairo (1) and a dog named Butter (5). In her free time she spends time with her children doing crafts/activities outside of the usual. Yer likes to watch international movies/drama series. She really enjoys learning about cultures, as well as learning languages through movie subtitles.

🌟 Staff Spotlight: Karen🌟
Karen has been a Certified Medical Assistant for the past 38 years. She has been working as a Clinical Assistant for Midwest ENT for the past 17 years. Karen says “Midwest ENT is an amazing place to work; the physicians and staff are fantastic.” She has worked as Dr. Flohr’s primary Clinical Assistant for the past 5 years.

Beyond her expertise, her peers highlight her for being a wonderful person to have around at Midwest ENT. She always makes her peers feel like somebody who knows what they're doing and who cares about the job is right at hand. She never hesitates to be appreciative. She also always supplies treats which is a completely unnecessary bribe. Karen is one of the people who makes us know that Midwest ENT can be a workplace for the long term and her peers are always happy to be scheduled with her.

Outside of work she enjoys spending free time traveling, listening to live music, and spending time outdoors. Most importantly, Karen loves spending time with family and close friends. She has a cat named Gus, and 2 children, Zach (29), Abbie (26), and her 1st grandchild is due on 6/28/26.

🌟 Staff Spotlight: Jackson🌟
Jackson has been happily with Midwest ENT for a year and a half now, ever since he moved to Minnesota, and is looking forward to the many years to come at Midwest. He grew up in Georgia and moved here with his wife in 2024 and studied political science in college.
Beyond his expertise, his peers highlight him for the way he inspires others to learn more about the world around them and patiently gives them the summarized rundown of random history facts when they ask him. He always shows up to the clinic early, is very efficient in completing tasks and helping open/close clinic. The team knows they can rely on him to help figure charting or administrative tasks out when a team member is struggling, or he gives them resources to do it themselves.
Outside of work, in his free time he loves history and sharing it with friends and coworkers.

Samyu graduated from the University of Minnesota and has been working at Midwest for a little over 1 year now. Patient care is something that she has always wanted to explore more of in a clinical setting.
Beyond her expertise, her peers highlight her for being an absolute pleasure to work with. She consistently brings a positive attitude to the team, offering support to both colleagues and patients with kindness and a smile. Her reliability and willingness to help make her a valued team member. One of her signature phrases, 'Thank you, Icons,' never fails to bring a smile—it perfectly reflects her cheerful and appreciative nature!
Outside of work, she likes to work with many multicultural non-profits around the Twin Cities, as well as organize advocacy events, workshops, and discussions around stigmatized topics in her culture. She also runs an Indian Classical music school aside from work and teaches around 35 kids. Samyu also performs professionally around Minnesota and India when time permits!
