Filling the void

I have been a massage therapist my entire adult life. With that being said, I was far from an adult when I started my career. I loved that my clients were happy, and that was as far into it as I looked for about 7 years. I, unassumingly, began my work in healthcare facilities in 2014 and quickly took my role as a massage therapist more seriously. People were treating pain with pills and surgery without ever having experienced actual massage therapy. I saw that with compassionate but deliberate therapeutic touch, pain and anxiety levels decreased. That experience lead to the creation of Bliss Bodywork. Many of the people that I worked with had significant health issues that involved chronic pain and difficulty functioning independently, and they were dealing with stress that comes with that. For most of them, getting a massage was not fathomable due to their disability, finances, or lack of transportation. This experience ignited a passion for working with severely disabled individuals, in addition to able-bodied individuals. We are happy to customize our treatments to meet the need of you or a loved one. Bliss can offer free massage therapy to wheelchair dependent individuals who meet the criteria. For those who do not qualify, we offer club rates to make regular treatments more possible. Stop by our new, wheelchair accessible office at 3 S.
