Center has provided care to those needing short term rehabilitation or long term care since 1972. Located on the North Shore near the Nassau/Suffolk Border, White Oaks is situated on 11 acres of serene and picturesque grounds. Our 72 private and 64 semi-private two resident rooms are spacious and comfortable and have private bathrooms.

This session will help caregivers, families, and professionals better understand behavioral changes, identify triggers, and learn practical, person-centered approaches to support those living with dementia.

So much joy packed into one afternoon 💛

Yesterday we had a special visit from our local Brownie Girl Scout troop! From crafts and charades to sweet treats and even sweeter conversations, our residents loved every moment.

Thank you for spending time with us and sharing what it truly means to be a Girl Scout — kindness, leadership, and community 💚🍪✨

A relaxing and creative afternoon at White Oaks 🌿🎨 Our residents enjoyed painting their very own mini terracotta pots, getting ready for next week’s Earth Day Gardening Club! Each pot was uniquely designed—so much talent and creativity in one room! 🌸🌱

Today we had a wonderful free shopping spree hosted by Nursing Home Warrior. A big thank you to Danielle Pagoulatos -Lieblein and all her fantastic volunteers for helping our resident shop. Everyone has a fantastic time. What a generous group of people. Can't wait for next time. 👗👖👜👚🛍 😃
