A letter from Diane ...
"Goodbye, my friends.
Goodbyes are not my favorite and this one is especially difficult - so I will be brief. After 18 years with Children’s Country Home, and what feels like several lifetimes of adventure and good times, this is my farewell letter as I embark on another journey - retirement.
At Children’s Country Home, I have worked alongside many caring and talented professionals who are not only my co-workers, but my CCH family. It is an amazing gift to share the same passion for the same mission.
While I know this is the right time for me to make this move, it is still not easy to part with the people I have worked alongside for so long.
Children’s Country Home gave me so many wonderful opportunities that I will forever look back at my time with CCH with love and gratitude.
The good news is that Ken Maas and Ashley House Northwest will be taking the reins. With more than 35 years of caring for medically fragile children, I know he will lead this caring and passionate team to new and greater heights.
The CCH children are the very reason for our existence and families and supporters are an important part of our team. Together, we help each child reach his or her potential.
Retirement is a time to look back with pride on achievements made... to remember with appreciation the many special people and moments shared... and to celebrate the future with all its possibilities.
Warm regards,
Diane Kolb"
