When life turns up the stress, do you find it harder to resist your favorite foods?
When you are tired or just downright exhausted, are you finding yourself in the kitchen searching for something to eat before you even realize what’s happening? 🙋🏼♀️Honestly I could be half way through whatever is in my hand before it dawns on me that I’m not even hungry and wondering what I am doing?
Do you identify as an emotional eater?
I didn’t, actually when people would tell me, “you eat to escape/deal with your emotions” that didn’t resonate with me. I didn’t have any conscious thoughts, I just knew that when I was stressed or tired I wanted to eat junk, I wasn’t consciously seeking out a feeling. And typically I felt worse after I ate so I didn’t understand the connection.

It will tell you to do the complete opposite of what you have and think you should be doing. It’ll feel like you shouldn’t do that! But you know what, it’s EXACTLY what you need to do. What you’ve done before has given you the results you currently have, you have to do the antithesis of what you’ve done. Promise, give it a try and see what happens, I mean what do you have to lose, what you are currently doing isn’t working.
