Letting go.. in every person, horse- or - all sentient beings for that matter- letting go is sometimes the hardest and greatest thing to ever do. Every sentient being is a teacher, if your are ready to be the student. Each day I begin and pray for a beginner’s mind- I ask for guidance to see things with a fresh perspective. Yesterday, I let go of Everett- he went to a new home and, although I loved him so much, it was time to let him go to a “more perfect” home. With him I became the student. From him I learned countless lessons that have transcended the arena into all areas of my life. I did cry for our memory- but my heart is full of love today for what was and what is. Will you be a student today? How has one sentient being changed you today? Are you willing to let go for something greater?
