💚 We’re inviting local voices to help guide mental health efforts in Teller County.

The Teller County Mental Health Alliance is expanding the Community Advisory Board, and we’re looking for community members who care about connection, well-being, and showing up for one another.

You don’t need to be a mental health professional. We’re hoping to hear from parents, youth, veterans, elders, neighbors, and people with lived experience who want to help shape priorities and strengthen our community—together.

This is an advisory space (not a support group), designed to be respectful of time, boundaries, and different perspectives.

Food insecurity isn’t just about groceries — it impacts emotional well-being, family relationships, and a sense of safety. Reaching out for help is a sign of strength, not failure.
Local organizations, faith communities, and behavioral-health partners are working together to make sure no one faces this change alone. If you’re struggling to make ends meet or feeling anxious, please reach out — whether for food support or someone to talk to.

Reach out to Teller County Cares Food Initiative and the Teller County Mental Health Alliance for support — mental health care, food resources, and community connection are here for you.
