International Dinner was a success! We sampled yummy snacks (and not so yummy snacks) from Scandinavia. It’s ALWAYS interesting to taste test food from other countries. We finished our evening with a beautiful dinner made by Chef Rebecca. Pasta with a delicious sauce, Swedish meatballs, a beautiful beet salad, and a Scandinavian pancake dessert. The residents were not disappointed.

This is Nancy Brummett. Nancy has volunteered in Assisted Living Facilities for a long time. Her love for the residents inspired her to write a devotional for Older Adults. The book is called, “The Hope of Glory”.
The Aspen was fortunate enough to have Nancy come read the very first devotional in the book. We look forward to delving further into it with our optional Bible Studies we hold every Tuesday and Thursday.
