Got off the boat in Bellingham Friday. Camped in Wilber, Washington yesterday. Made it to Whitefish, MT and visiting my boy for a day. Still lots of rain but more or less used to that:). The bikes are holding up well but had to replace a leaking ground pad and a faulty microphone in my head-set. Headed south today but no particular destination. Want to squeeze out a few more days of vacation!

Instead of going up to the Anchorage, area, we decided to see some of the inside passage. Got on an inter-Island ferry that runs from Haines to Bellingham, Washington. It takes three days for the journey, but the accommodations are very nice. Sleeping on the deck of the ship and being able to see the stars out here is pretty incredible! This also gives us a chance to rest our rear ends 🙂. It heads us in the general direction of home. Bittersweet.

Here’s a few more pictures to add to the story. It’s kind of hard to tell, but it’s been a very damp ride! Beautiful scenery though! We are in Skagway tonight and probably going to jump on the ferry for Haines in the morning. Still think a Motorcycle’s the best way to see this country! Might have to switch to an RV someday. The body can’t take quite as much abuse as it used to 🙂.
