About Dr. Rico Visperas DPM

Dr. Rico Visperas takes pride in delivering the highest quality patient experience. His treatment philosophy centers on keeping patients actively involved, well-educated, highly motivated, and aware of all available treatment options to fit one’s lifestyle. He seeks to optimize patient outcomes by integrating traditional methodologies with the latest advancements all while providing first-class care.

Dr. Visperas, a Filipino-American, was raised in nearby Clifton, New Jersey. He graduated with honors from Kean University and earned his medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.

Upon graduation, Dr. Visperas completed a comprehensive three-year surgical residency program at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center (now Englewood Health). He is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, trained in Foot and Ankle Arthroscopy by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and a specialist in Bloodless Medicine. His clinical interests include: Sports & Performing Arts Medicine, Reconstructive Surgery, Trauma, Pediatrics, Dermatology, Regenerative Medicine, Preventative Medicine, Wound Care, and Diabetic Limb Salvage.
