We will be having a virtual milk drive soon. More details to follow. In the meantime, please contact Mother's Milk Bank to start the approval process. We have been told it could take several weeks before someone is approved.

I am proud to be an ICEA certified birth doula!

This year plus has been full of adjustments and supporting families virtually was very different for me, but the families I have been blessed by allowing me in to their birth story have been incredible…. THANK YOU! I was finally able to be present in person to support an amazing family for a beautiful birth!!! The nursing staff and doctors are awesome!!!So grateful Doula’s are allowed back into some hospitals and families can have our support in person. This week has made my heart sing! I am blessed 💝💝💝

I know it’s not the case everywhere, but where I live, we are starting to see some hope in the return to semi-normal, pre-pandemic life. This is such a beautiful lesson!!!

A professor gave a balloon to every student, who had to inflate it, write their name on it and throw it in the hallway. The professor then mixed all the balloons. The students were then given 5 minutes to find their own balloon.

Despite a hectic search, no one found their balloon.

At that point, the professor told the students to take the first balloon that they found and hand it to the person whose name was written on it. Within 5 minutes, everyone had their own balloon.

The professor said to the students:

"These balloons are like happiness. We will never find it if everyone is looking for their own. But if we care about other people's happiness, we'll find ours too."
