👩🔬 Meet Emily Miller, a Research Associate in the Precision Medicine department at the Terasaki Institute.
Emily works on organoid and cancer research, using a high-throughput microorganoid platform to test potential treatments for aggressive brain tumors—specifically pediatric DIPG and IDH-mutant gliomas.
Her work is at the forefront of:
🧬 Personalized cancer research
🧪 Drug screening with patient-derived samples
🌍 Translational science with real-world clinical potential
Emily also mentors interns, helping them grow as future scientists.
“It’s been so rewarding to teach and share what we do.”
The future of precision medicine is being built right here—one experiment at a time. 🙌
