Jordan Carpenter, originally from Oregon, now in Norethern California wowd the residents with songs from Frank Sinatra to The Beatles to Sir Elton John... With a voice style of James Taylor and John Denver... he has had the residents asking for more Jordan Carpenter...

A big Thank you to the Leland Stanford Mansion State Historical Park for coming out to Woodland Skilled Nursing to give an educational program on the Stanford family & their influence on California to our residents. The 45 minute presentaion talked about how the mansion was built, how the University came about and how the family overcame tragedy to give a gift that lasted the ages... If you ever get a chance... this building is a hidden gem in our State Capital...

We love our CNA’s ❤️ It’s CNA week but at Woodland Skilled, everyday is about our CNA’s. Some of the hardest workers in the facility with one of the hardest jobs. Happy CNA week to all the CNA’s out there and especially ours.

On June 14th, The U.S. Army will celebrate its 248th Birthday. The U.S. Army was founded on 14 June 1775, when the Continental Congress authorized enlistment of expert riflemen to serve the United Colonies for one year. Woodland Skilled Nursing had the honor of having Staff Seargent McCafferty visit the resident & talk about U.S. Army History, his experiences in todays Army & new happenings in todays Army. SSGT McCafferty also got to meet with resident who served in US Army. Margaret O., 91 yrs young was front & center to talk about her experiences in the Army. Margaret's husband served under General McArthur in World War II, her son, grandson and great grandson all served in the US Army. Dorothy B. was also there to talk abiut her service from 1974 to 1978. After the presentation, all attendees were treated to cake & ice cream!
