We’re excited to offer two engaging therapeutic group options this spring at our Woodridge office, designed to help kids and teens build confidence, connection, and life skills in a supportive environment.

✨ Project Connect – Social Communication Group
A 10-week skills-based group (ages 8–15) focused on strengthening peer interaction, emotional regulation, and social reciprocity through structured and spontaneous activities.

🥣 Cooking with Executive Functioning – Hands-On Life Skills
A 6-week co-ed program (ages 8–12) where participants build planning, organization, and emotional regulation skills while creating simple, tasty snacks together.

📅 Programs begin in early April
📝 Registration deadline: March 24th

This fun, skill-building group is designed for teens (ages 13–16, co-ed) to strengthen social confidence in a relaxed, supportive environment… with pizza, of course!

🗓 Every last Friday of the month: 6/26/26, 7/31/26, 8/28/26
⏰ 4:00–6:00 PM
💲 $250 for the full session

Cooking with Executive Functioning is a hands-on, skill-building group where kids strengthen executive functioning skills while making a tasty snack each week.

Through fun, interactive cooking activities, participants will practice:

• Flexibility and time management
• Completing tasks from start to finish

Is your child working on building friendships, strengthening communication skills, or navigating emotions with peers? Project Connect is a structured, supportive group designed to help kids and teens grow their social confidence and connection skills in a fun, engaging environment.

During this series, participants will work on:
• Initiating and maintaining peer interactions
• Active listening & perspective-taking
• Emotional regulation and empathy
• Flexible thinking & problem-solving
• Managing emotions and conflict resolution

👨‍👩‍👧 Parent/Caregiver Bonus: After each session, caregivers receive a brief check-in with helpful insights about the skills practiced that day.

Understanding Depression & Anxiety in Children and Adolescents: Signs, Symptoms, and Treatment Options

Our July workshop focuses on critical information for parents and caregivers to help them recognize the signs and symptoms of depression and anxiety in children and adolescents and how to support them through difficult emotional experiences. We’ll cover the full range of treatment options, and you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions about medication options.
