Our adventure today took us to Kennecott Copper Mine! When we got there we took a bus up the mountain and that was a ride itself! We watched a video on the way up and learned about the mining process and how the copper is extracted. When we got to the top we were able to see a great view showing how vast the mine is. The trucks and tools they use are so big!

Happy Eclipse Day! We learned all about eclipses and had an eclipse theme day. (How many times can I say the word eclipse in this one post? 😂)
We had a visual lesson on what an eclipse is and looks like. We did that with Oreo cookies and then we got to see what it looks like with a lamp.
We walked to the park and while we waited we played bocce ball! When it was time we got our eclipse glasses on and caught a few peeks! The clouds weren’t cooperating too well but we were able to catch a few glimpses.
In our cooking class they made frosting and made their own eclipse cookies!
It’s been a great day to be with friends and to learn about these phenomenal experiences.

Hi Ohana friends! It’s been a while since we’ve shared some of our adventures. Today we visited the Natural History Museum. We saw lots of fossils, replicas, and went through the Becoming Jane exhibit. It was a lot of fun seeing artifacts and getting to learn new things!

Ohana’s Night of the Arts pt. 1
We all had such an amazing time! We couldn’t have done it without our amazing clients working so hard. We are so grateful for them! They truly make Ohana what it is. Thank you so much to for his beautiful design for our new shirts. Thank you to Dave from Wasatch Music Academy for sharing his love of music with us all. Thank you do Drew for sharing her talent of dance. So many mahalo’s for everyone who has volunteered their time and talents!
