Dear NCEFT Community,

It is with great pleasure that we introduce W. Scott Lohmann, the new Development Director at the National Center for Equine Facilitated Therapy.

Scott brings a proven record of strategic fundraising and nonprofit leadership. His career spans senior development roles with impactful organizations including VolunteerMatch.org, Voices College-Bound Language Academies, and the Peninsula College Fund where he served on the board for more than ten years, including two years as Board President.

Outside of work, Scott coaches boys’ varsity lacrosse at Sequoia High School and enjoys cycling. He and his wife, Lisa, are proud empty nesters with two college-aged sons and their loyal dog, Rocky.

Many of you may already know Scott through his extensive community involvement on the Peninsula. We’re delighted to have him bring his energy, experience, and passion for building meaningful connections to the NCEFT family. Our dedicated team of clinicians and horses helps veterans who are fighting silent battles with PTSD, isolation, and addiction long after they’ve returned home. One session at a time, and at no cost to them, we walk alongside veterans on the long road to healing.
