Our dedicated team of clinicians and horses helps veterans who are fighting silent battles with PTSD, isolation, and addiction long after they’ve returned home. One session at a time, and at no cost to them, we walk alongside veterans on the long road to healing.

Everyday at NCEFT, we observe incredible growth, strength, and resilience in our clients, horses, and staff.

This year has reinforced NCEFT’s resilience as we navigated through exceptional challenges. A series of illnesses among our horses required multiple barn shutdowns and halts to our vital therapeutic services. These events led to increased veterinary costs and lost program revenue.

This spring, we need your help to raise $250,000 to ensure our horses, clients, and essential programs continue to thrive.

Good news! There are still openings in NCEFT’s mental health & resilience group, STEPS.

The group is led by licensed mental health professionals and equine specialists and includes activities to build resilience and coping skills for anxiety, depression and other mental health challenges.

No prior horse experience is required.
