🥳 Congrats to all the Northside New Year’s babies! 🍾 🎉

Meet Leonardo Dexter Insalaca! He was born at 12:18 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026 – the first baby of the year at Northside Hospital Cherokee. His parents are Princess Flanders and Charles Insalaca of Holly Springs.

Leonardo weighed 6 pounds 8 ounces and measured 18.5 inches.

🌼 Get to know Dr. Hannah Potter 🌼

Dr. Potter and her husband met in medical school at the University of South Carolina. 🩺 Their sweet little family includes a 6 month old son and 5 year old boxer. 💕 They love going to football games, hiking, and peaceful weekends on the lake. At home, Dr. Potter enjoys crafting and trying new recipes ! 🍰

🌸 Meet Chrissie Gangwisch, one of our Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners 🌸

Chrissie enjoys caring for OB/GYN patients and empowering them to take an active role in their health care journey. She is committed to continually expanding her knowledge so she can provide the best care at every stage of life. Chrissie specializes in hormonal issues with a particular interest in the complexities of PCOS and other imbalances that affect fertility and ovulatory function. 💜

Outside of work, Chrissie enjoys life with her husband Steve, son Aiden, senior kitty Zooey (16!), and their newest fur baby, Luna R. Eclipse—a 3-month-old pup full of energy. 🐾 Together, they love traveling, exploring parks and museums, and gardening. 🌿

✨ Fun fact: last year, Chrissie checked off a bucket-list adventure—visiting Antarctica! 🧊🐧
