On Tuesdays we have a group that volunteers at handhoofandheart.

This past Friday they invited us to participate in Charity Day at Tidal Wave Auto Spa. Our participants had a great time being a mini horse wrangler, selling food, and thanking the customers that participated in the event.

A couple of weeks ago we had a “you pick” day with Wildlife Action of Georgia and SS Freedom. Participants got to pick (most did multiple) fishing, swimming, or boat ride.

We didn’t get a ton of pictures but we were able to bring the entire group and staff! We were too busy enjoying the moment and forgot about pictures.

Shout out to SS Freedom, Stone Payton, and Ned! This is one of those experiences that our participants can’t wait for and ask to have more of.

Not only have they provided our participants with fun days on the water, fishing, and even swimming—they have gone the extra mile and took us on a boat ride to restaurants on the lake for our monthly boys/girls lunch. We highly recommend donating and visiting them!

We love our Tuesdays at Hand, Hoof and Heart!!

Our Tuesday morning crew from Limitless Disability Services-Woodstock brings so much joy to the farm. Each week they care for our rabbits and chickens and help keep one of our horses moving with a good walk. Back in April they planted loofah seeds and now they are watching the vines grow tall while waiting for their very own sponges to be ready.

Limitless Disability Services supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by building community, independence, and opportunities to learn new skills. We are grateful for all they contribute here at the farm and proud to share in their journey.

It's DSP week, and we're celebrating the hard work and dedication of our team members, including the leadership team.
