✨ Tonight’s prenatal appointment looked a little different... ✨

Instead of a quick five-minute check-in under fluorescent lights, this evening was bathed in the hum of crystal bowls and gentle chimes. My client, nearing the sacred threshold of laborland, asked for a sound bath to ease her spirit and prepare her body — and together, we honored that call.

This is the joy, the soul, the beauty of being a homebirth midwife. Prenatal care isn’t just about measuring centimeters and listening to heart tones — although we absolutely do that, too. It’s about truly listening — to the heart, to the spirit, to the whispers of intuition.

We sat together, surrounded by softness and sound, her baby dancing beneath her belly while the frequencies wrapped around us like a prayer. I wasn’t above her or in charge of her — I was beside her, where midwives are meant to be. Walking with her. Holding space for her unfolding.

This is what prenatal care looks like when you choose sovereign, soulful midwifery. You’re not just a patient — you’re a whole person. A divine portal. A woman in her power, being deeply seen and supported.

💜 a big congratulations to Steph and your accomplishments..

I’m THRILLED to share that I’ve completed the steps to become a midwife! It’s been an incredible journey of learning, growth, and deep commitment to this calling.

I plan to sit for the board exam by the end of this summer, and I’m NOW TAKING ON CLIENTS as a primary midwife with due dates in September 2025 and beyond. Care prior to licensure will be under supervision.
