I know a lot of us are carrying fear right now. Anger too. Grief. Exhaustion. Confusion. All of it makes sense.

You are not dramatic for feeling this way. You are paying attention.

What matters next is what we do with it.

We can turn these feelings into movement. Into care for one another. Into showing up for our communities in whatever ways we actually can right now.

If you have time, give it. Volunteer. Share resources. Lift up voices that need amplification. Help neighbors organize. Be present.

If you have funds, even a little, direct them where they can protect people and provide real support.

If you have a voice, use it. Call representatives. Track bills. Stay informed. Speak when it feels scary and speak anyway.

And also hear me on this part. We need your joy too. We need your softness, your rituals, your laughter, your friendships, your art, your rest. Rage fuels action. Joy keeps us alive long enough to keep going.

You do not have to do everything. You just have to do something.

We stand together in this. Always.

Yall!! I am genuinely so honored to be featured by and to get to talk about my work, my book Talking with the Tarot, and .ritual.garden membership in a space that celebrates so many thoughtful creators and community builders.

Being included alongside other people who are holding space in their communities reminds me how much care, courage, and consistency this work really takes. It also reminds me how grateful I am to be doing it at all.

I never take for granted that I get to teach, write, build community, and walk with people through their own growth and healing. Every class you attend, every page you read, every message you send, every time you show up in The Garden makes this possible.

I am being a very brave little toaster this year!

I wanted to deep dive into the magickal community this year and what better way than to attend some the most magickal conventions around.

Talking with the Tarot and I will be at ConVication first, this February from the 19th until the 22nd so make sure you get your tickets at www.convocation.org .michigan

Then we will be heading to my publisher home state of sweet Minnesota from March 20th to the 22nd at

And if these weren’t exciting enough we will then be at in Portland, Oregon from April 23rd till the 26th.

But that’s not all! I will finally be stepping into one of the most magickal places on Earth by attending Sassy Con in New Orleans, Louisiana in May. Like I’m so excited to meet the folks at

While others are saying what is happening is a tragedy BUT…

I want to offer you some alternatives.

There is no denying that what has been happening is scary, upsetting, inhumane, and downright disgusting. It has been all of these things and more since a group of human beings decided they wanted to actively harm fellow humans who did not subscribe to their beliefs.

I am with you in your rage. And I also want to offer some next steps on what you can do today to actually help and make a difference.

When they say what’s happened is a tragedy BUT (insert ridiculous statement here), you can instead respond with “yes it is, and I…”

Sometimes that looks like, “Yes, and I am volunteering at my local food bank.”

Or, “Yes, and I am donating to a local nonprofit that helps post bail for protesters.”

Or even, “Yes, and I am organizing my community to support their family with a meal train.”

It will look different for everyone. Some people will have the capacity to spread awareness. Others will donate their time or money. All of it matters. All of it makes an impact.

You can help. You can do something. Pouring into and protecting your community is vital right now. I know it’s scary. I know it’s uncomfortable. And it’s important.

I could come online every day and say that if you voted for him you should unfollow me, but who does that actually help? What is the impact? There isn’t one.

Instead, I ask that if you are here with me, you donate your money, time, and resources to the people and organizations doing the work we desperately need.

Contact your representatives. Donate even small amounts if that’s what you can do. Protect one another.

I love you, and I am proud of you for showing up and making a difference.

Witchery and spirituality are political. Let’s use our power to help make this world safer and more just for every single human.

New year means new reading lists, so here is my humble recommendation if you are wanting to deepen your connection to tarot in 2026.

Talking with the Tarot has received so much support and kindness, and I am deeply grateful for every single person who has picked it up.

2025 was both one of the hardest and most meaningful year of my life.

My mom was incredibly proud of me for writing this book. She passed away two months before its release, so she never got to hold it in her hands. Knowing that so many of you are holding it in yours means more to me than I can express.

What started as a way to share my tarot practice became something much bigger and more personal than I could have imagined.

I planned to post this earlier, but I hit a point where I could not bring myself to be online. The ad fatigue was real, and the last thing I wanted was for my community to feel like just another promotion in your feed.

Merry Christmas, my loves ❤️

I’m resting today as I recover from my recent medical event, but as I sit in this stillness I can’t help but feel overwhelmed with both love and grief for this day.

Some of us are celebrating with loved ones here, and others are lighting candles to remember the ones who are not. This year I have experienced several losses, and honestly over the last five years more and more of my loved ones have crossed over to spirit. I know I am not alone in these losses, and I just wanted to say how much I honor that connection.

I also wanted to share that grief should not be seen as a barrier to celebration. This post is not to darken this day, but to serve as hands reaching across your screen to say, “I see your grief, and I hold it with love.”

The moments may look different, but the love that surrounds this season is the same. Honor your memories while expanding to create new ones. Reach out to the people you love and allow yourself to be seen by them. Cherish the old days and open your heart to the future ones ahead.

Today might feel full, or tender, or quiet in ways you cannot name. However it finds you, I hope you feel held.

May you feel supported, seen, and guided in whatever season you are walking through. May you remember that love does not end, it transforms. And may you give yourself permission to feel what is true in your heart without rushing it away.

Wishing you warmth, softness, and a little sparkle of holiday magick today.

PS: I did set a place for the spirits… but only the ones with good manners made the guest list. 👻
