When you hear the term "doula", what comes to mind? A common misconception is that they are only beneficial for those planning a home or unmediated birth, however that couldn't be further from the truth! Next time you hear a pregnant person say they wish they could help dilation & shorten labor, you can tell them eating 6 dates a day at 36 weeks is a good place to start! 😋
