Cherokee County is expected to start experiencing effects from this winter storm Saturday evening. Cherokee County E 9-1-1 has additional staff on hand to assist and stands ready with our public safety partners to help. ππππ‘
βΉοΈ Here are some ways you can help us, help you during this storm.
π¨ Please remember to utilize 9-1-1 for emergencies to life or property and use our non-emergency number, (678) 493-4080 for calls that are not.

π The winter weather will cause the roadways to be very slick as well as a lot of trees down and possible power outages. You still have a little bit of time left to prepare.
β οΈ Make sure to sign up for RAVE alert notifications from Cherokee County, GA Emergency Management to stay on top of important updates.
π³ To report a tree down that DOES NOT involve any utility lines or immediate danger to life or property, please call (678) 493-4080. Down trees that have already been checked will have yellow tape tied to it.
β‘ To report power outages please get in touch with your power company. Many can report online or through a smartphone app.
