Cherokee County is expected to start experiencing effects from this winter storm Saturday evening. Cherokee County E 9-1-1 has additional staff on hand to assist and stands ready with our public safety partners to help. 🚓🚒🚑📡

ℹ️ Here are some ways you can help us, help you during this storm.

🚨 Please remember to utilize 9-1-1 for emergencies to life or property and use our non-emergency number, (678) 493-4080 for calls that are not.

🌀 The winter weather will cause the roadways to be very slick as well as a lot of trees down and possible power outages. You still have a little bit of time left to prepare.

⚠️ Make sure to sign up for RAVE alert notifications from Cherokee County, GA Emergency Management to stay on top of important updates.

🌳 To report a tree down that DOES NOT involve any utility lines or immediate danger to life or property, please call (678) 493-4080. Down trees that have already been checked will have yellow tape tied to it.

⚡ To report power outages please get in touch with your power company. Many can report online or through a smartphone app.

IN WDSTK presented a check to the Woodstock Public Safety Foundation, for the "Shop with a Hero" initiative. Funded by the JINgle MINgle proceeds, this generosity positively impacted the Christmas of 33 local families ($5000/$150 per shopper), earning appreciation for all involved. Thank you to everyone who supported and participated in this fun yet impactful initiative, showcasing the power of collaborative community efforts.
