Congratulations to our Marian Central students who have been named Rising & Distinguished Scholars by the PreACT Rising Stars program. The award is based on the students who took the 2024-2025 PreACT assessment from September 1, 2024, to April 1, 2025.

Rising Scholars are represented by the blue ribbon and are in the top 15% nationally. Distinguished Scholars are represented by the orange ribbons and are the top 5% nationally!

The award is based on the students who took the 2024-2025 PreACT assessment from September 1, 2024, to April 1, 2025, and were ranked nationally in the top 50% of the entire body of test takers.

Congratulations to Marc Cheng '26!

Marc has been named a Semifinalist in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program, placing him among the top one percent of high school seniors nationwide. He now has the opportunity to advance as a Finalist and compete for one of nearly 7,000 scholarships worth a combined $26 million to be awarded next spring.
