Marian Central offers a Catholic/Christian faith community where students are encouraged to grow intellectually and spiritually as they interact with each other, the church, and society. Our curriculum challenges all students, fosters academic excellence, encourages the development of critical thinking skills, promotes physical wellness, and leads to a commitment to life-long learning within a caring and moral educational environment. We prepare our students to be responsible citizens in society as well as active participants in the church and in the world. Most importantly, at Marian Central, we guide our students in character development and the establishment of ethical standards through the application of Catholic principles and the teaching mission of the Church. Our French students have been very busy! The first group of photos are the students making crepes during lunch periods with Chef Dan to celebrate National Crepe Day!

The second group of photos are from their field trip to Alliance Française in Chicago. The students learned how to make iconic French dishes: croque-monsieur, classic vinaigrette dressing and famous madeleines from scratch. They enjoyed the dishes they cooked. Our French-native teacher Gabrielle conducted the cooking class in French. Continuing to experience learning in and out of the classroom!
